Weekend Traffic: Phoenix Road Report for September 16

PHOENIX – Here is a breakdown of the current closures and diversions drivers will find on the roads of the valley this weekend.
- Northbound I-17 is closed between Thunderbird Road and Yorkshire Drive (north of Union Hills Drive) from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (September 19) for the start of the pavement improvement project. Northbound I-17 ramps between Northern Avenue and Bell Road are closed.
- Loop 101 southbound (Agua Fria Highway) closed between Camelback and Indian School roads in the West Valley from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (September 19) for overhead signage work. The Southbound Loop 101 ramp at Cardinals Way is also closed.
- I-10 toward is closed between US 60 (Superstition Freeway) and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday (Sept. 19) for paving as part of the improvement project from the I-10 Broadway curve. The westbound US 60 ramp to eastbound I-10 is closed. The eastbound I-10 on-ramps at 40th Street and Broadway Road are also closed. The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Chandler Boulevard will remain open. US 60 eastbound exit and on-ramps at Mill Avenue are closed. Both HOV lane ramps at the I-10/US 60 interchange are closed.
